Pieter fell in love with trophy hunting and is grateful for what the industry has taught him and the people he has met along the way. Pieter has been involved in two of the largest hunting safaris in southern Africa but has recently decided to scale down and focus only on providing high-quality, personalized safaris.
He is still based in central Namibia, where he started his career, and believes that the rolling hills provide the best hunting experience in the country. Alex has been an integral part of the Hemingway team from the very beginning. He doesn’t only take care of the trophies, skinning, vehicles, rifles, and countless other details, he is also an outstanding hunter and tracker in his own right. Without Alex, Hemingway Safaris simply wouldn’t be the same. He adds a tremendous amount of value to our operation, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful person on our team.
Alex and his family live in Otjinene in northern Namibia. He has three children, Alexander, Jaden, and Amara, who stay with their mother, Justine, throughout the hunting season while Alex and I are out on safari.
